Providence Water Quality Director named Speaker of House for the Water Environment Federation

Aimee’ R. Killeen, Providence Water Quality Services Director, has been confirmed as the 2017-2018 Speaker of the House of Delegates (HOD) for the Water Environment Federation (WEF) by a majority vote. Her duties are to represent the interest of the respective Member Association and advise the WEF Board on strategic direction, policies, and initiatives. The one-year term includes membership on the Louisiana Water Environment Association (LWEA) Board.

"For the past four years, Ms. Killeen has served as the LWEA Delegate to the WEF and has actively served on various workgroups, as Chair of the HOD Outreach Committee and as HOD Speaker-Elect. She currently serves as chair of the LWEA Stockholm Junior Water Prize Committee, Public Education Committee and previously served as LWEA president from 2012-2013. She also plays an active role in Providence's Employee Owner Communications Committee and is a frequent contributor to the LWEA newsletter, The Crock."
