Aimee Killeen, Providence COO, Featured in WE&T Magazine, Discusses Small Changes for Women in Water

Aimee’ Killeen, Providence COO and Water Quality Scientist, was recently featured in the March 2021 issue of the Water Environment & Technology (WE&T). WE&T, a magazine written by members of the water sector for the water sector, is the flagship publication of the Water Environment Federation. The magazine provides information on cutting-edge technologies, innovative solutions, operations and maintenance, regulatory and legislative impacts, and professional development for people in the water world. Aimee’ wrote an article that spoke to leadership and women in the workplace. Her article, “Be the Change – Focus on Small Actions to Make Big Strides for Women” WE&T, March 2021, pages 59-60, focuses on what she can do as a woman with a passion for water to help make small impacts that will lead to big strides for women. Her main points were to be an agent of change, have conversations and address the issues that women face, to be a building block that initiates change through education, and lastly to share ideas and welcome in new ideas, people, and thoughts.
