Providence Professionals to Present at Louisiana Solid Waste Association (LSWA) Conference

Providence will have a large presence at the upcoming 2017 LSWA Annual Conference and Exhibition. Environmental Services Director, Kevin Calhoun, PE, will present, “SO2 Data Requirements Rule Update: Monitor Installation & Operation” which will give a history of the EPA’s 1-hour SO2 National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS) rule promulgated on June 22, 2010, what the current NAAQS designations are, and where we stand in the rest of the state.

Water Quality Services Director, Aimee Killeen, will present, “Watershed Modeling for Sewer Prioritization and Planning” which will discuss the process of gathering the necessary data, development of water quality models, and producing recommendations to assist suburban municipalities in determining which sewer and storm water projects can actually resolve and/or improve water quality issues rather than the current “shot in the dark” method.

Providence will also be exhibiting at booth #6 in the exhibition hall. The conference will be held in Lafayette, LA on March 15-17 at the Cajundome Convention Center. For more information on the conference, click here.
