Baton Rouge Business Report Ranks Providence 5th in Local Engineering Firms Listing

The Baton Rouge Business Report releases rankings of the capital region’s businesses by specific categories each year.  For the engineering category, local firms were ranked by revenue.  Providence was ranked 5th in the list with a 2018 revenue of $24.5 million. The published listing also included the total number of local employees, the total number of licensed professional engineers and engineers in training, major focus areas, and years in business. 

Providence looks forward to both continued success and growth in the coming years with its recent expansion of services -- electrical utility engineering, private utility system management, subsurface utility engineering (SUE), hydrographic surveying, and construction engineering and inspection (CE&I). 

Providence was also recognized as a Baton Rouge Business Report Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge for small-to-medium-sized companies for the last four consecutive years, and its CEO, Karen Holden, PE, was recognized as a 2017 Influential Women in Business.
