Aimee’ Killeen, Providence Chief Operations Officer (COO), has been appointed President-Elect of the Water Environment Federation (WEF). She assumed her leadership role at the 2023 Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference (WEFTEC) in Chicago, IL, on Tuesday, October 3rd at the passing of the gavel event. In her capacity as president, Killeen will lead the global network of water quality professionals and provide guidance on furthering the organization’s reach, initiatives, and goals. WEF, a not-for-profit technical and educational organization, has a membership of 33,000 individuals and is associated with 75 Member Associations worldwide, representing water quality professionals. Their aim is to enhance understanding of water quality, explore innovative products, services, and technologies, and engage in social networking with other industry leaders.
