Providence provided both residential and commercial estimators in response to Hurricane Sandy as a part of the DASNY RREM program for SBA. Providence provided estimators to the Long Island area, placing over 90 estimators on the project within a 72 hour time frame for a project duration of approximately 45 days. At our peak, we had a total of 125 estimators on placement in New York with work sustained for over 21 days. Our estimators are experienced in damage assessments with a minimum of two years’ experience using the preferred Xactimate software, with a majority having over five years’ of disaster response experience. In addition to estimators, Providence successfully provided the DASNY program with the following services: Project Management - our team members have experience in developing effective communications materials which are clear and easily understood. We firmly believe that personal interactions are key to the success of any public program. The importance of clear communications regarding program guidelines and requirements from start to finish are considered for every aspect of the program. Data Control and Database Management - We can build a customizable software package, or help select one of the numerous other commercial software programs we have experience with. Previously we have created a customized SharePoint site for Small Rental Assistance programs to help manage the day to day management of the inspections, including data collection, data transfers, and all reports. Call Center - The Providence Team has extensive experience in personally communicating with disaster-affected residents over the past four years, with regard to positive and compassionate interactions with storm victims. Customer service with knowledgeable and compassionate staff available onsite to provide information in an easily understandable manner. Quality Control - Our inspection experience and customized QC tools will allow us to not only respond with the correct information, but to do so in a timely manner. We also understands the importance of using the data gathered during this process, and review of the data once it is transferred to the office as well as implement field quality control steps.
