Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government selected Providence/GSE to assist in the preparation of plans and specifications for construction of a concrete pile supported pre-cast concrete pump station substructure. The scope of services included the coordination and preparation of engineering reports, a geotechnical investigation, funding applications/agreements, right-of-way documents, environmental assessments/environmental impact statements. The structure included steel sheet piles, discharge piping, a pre-engineered metal building, a fuel system, a generator, an electrical system, and a telemetry system. The demolition of the old pump station, new pump and engine installation, as well as modifications to the existing pump were also completed. Providence/GSE also assisted Terrebonne Parish with bid advertisement, bid evaluation, and contract award during the bidding phase of the project, as well as project representation and construction administration during the construction phase.
