Qi Zhang, PE, Senior Air Quality Engineer, named TAEP Environmental Professional of the Year

Providence is proud to announce that Qi Zhang, PE, has been named the TAEP (Texas Association of Environmental Professionals) Environmental Professional of the Year. Qi serves as the Senior Air Quality Engineer in our Houston office and was selected for his significant contributions through his professional contributions and service. Qi has contributed to the innovation of environmental professionals this year through performing photochemical modeling with CAMx for interpollutant trading in an ozone nonattainment area - the first such interpollutant trading modeling performed in that state. He has also presented on a variety of topics at three conferences in the last two years and has been invited to present at the AWMA Guideline on Air Quality Models: The Changes conference. He is an active member of the Executive Committee of the Chinese American Petroleum Association (CAPA) and volunteered to help with the TAEP Environmental Challenges and Innovations Conference (ECIC) this year.
