Providence Named Third Best Place to Work in Baton Rouge for Small to Medium-sized Companies

Providence was named third Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge for small-to medium-sized companies in the Baton Rouge Business Report’s Best Places to Work 2015. The Best Places to Work is a survey competition to determine which participants are the best employers in the greater Baton Rouge area. A few factors that secured Providence’s third place recognition were positive employee survey responses, profit sharing, paid time off for volunteering, nine paid holidays, flexible work schedules, a wellness program that includes the Providence Corporate Cup, and employee referral and bonus programs. The workplace culture that includes annual crawfish boils, monthly birthday and anniversary luncheons, costume contests, and a fall fun fest, was also highlighted as a factor in choosing Providence as one of Baton Rouge’s Best Places to Work.
