Providence Named One of the 2017 Baton Rouge Business Report’s Best Places to Work

Providence was named one of the Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge for small-to-medium-sized companies in the Baton Rouge Business Report’s Best Places to Work for the third year in a row. The Best Places to Work is a survey competition to determine which participants are the best employers in the greater Baton Rouge area. A few factors that secured Providence’s recognition were career development programs, diversity programs, profit sharing, a 401K/retirement plan, paid time off for volunteering, nine paid holidays, a wellness program that includes the Providence Corporate Cup, and new hire referral bonus programs. The workplace culture that includes an annual crawfish boil, a Family Fall Fest, the Providence Corporate Cup, and participation in the Crawfish King Cookoff were also highlighted as factors in choosing Providence as one of Baton Rouge’s Best Places to Work.
