Providence Expands Electrical Engineering Services; Now Offers EUE and PUSM

Providence has expanded its electrical engineering offerings to now accommodate all electric power needs – from the power plant to the consumer. In addition to traditional electrical engineering, Providence now also offers two specialized high-voltage services, Electrical Utility Engineering and Private Utility System Management.

Providence's Electrical Utility Engineering services include substation services, distribution services, transmission services, underground subdivisions and utility crossings, construction management, and electrical inspection and studies.

Providence’s Private Utility System Management service offers complete management of a high-voltage distribution system with public power resources scaled to each unique need. Specific services include planning and management, engineering, procurement, construction, and reliability.

This expansion of services comes after the addition of Matthew Mapes, PE. Mapes has 16 years of electrical industry experience and 10 years of engineering experience. He has detailed knowledge of NEC, NESC, and RUS specifications and a broad knowledge of transmission line, underground distribution line, overhead distribution line, substation and communication line construction.
