Providence Environmental Scientist, Jacob Meyer, Completes FAA-Certified Remote Pilot Certification

Jacob Meyer, an Environmental Scientist in Providence’s Natural Resource & Coastal Services Group, recently completed the coursework and knowledge testing required for the Federal Aviation Administration
(FAA) Remote Pilot certification. The FAA requires all applicants to understand the federal regulation code that pertains to commercial flights (Part 107, Chapter 14), and then, pass a knowledge test on the regulations. Since his successful completion, Jacob is now the second FAA-Certified Remote Pilot on the Providence team.
