Gary Leonards, PE, Providence Engineering Services Director, had his abstract “Large Scale Marsh Creation and Nourishment in St. Tammany Parish - Part I of II” published in the February issue of the ASCE magazine. The abstract highlights a marsh creation and nourishment project through the Louisiana Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority (CPRA) to create more than 600 acres of low salinity brackish marsh and nourish approximately 250 additional acres immediately north and east of the marsh creation areas around the Bayou Bonfouca in St. Tammany Parish.
