Providence presented the Big Buddy Program and the Mid City Redevelopment Alliance (MCRA) each with a $16,000 check after closing out the 2017 Providence Corporate Cup. This is the 10th year Providence has presented the race proceeds to these two organizations. The 2018 race date has not yet been confirmed, but is planned for March 2018. The race will begin in downtown Baton Rouge at North Boulevard Town Square.
