Providence, a multidisciplinary engineering and environmental services firm with offices in Louisiana, Texas, Florida, and California, has announced a new member to its Board of Directors, Clay Breaud.

Breaud was named to the Board of Directors on August 1, 2014. He joins fellow board members Rich Major, PE; Todd Black, PE; Yousheng Zeng, PhD, PE; Karen Holden, PE; and Nimish Katwala. With the addition of Breaud, Providence boosts a six-person board with representation of all its client services.

Breaud, who joined Providence in 2009 following the acquisition of GSE Associates in Houma, currently serves as manager of the engineering division, overseeing daily operations and all project activities. Breaud is among the firm’s most experienced project managers with more than 38 years of experience. He has extensive experience in preparing project budgets and engineering agreements, managing project activities, and coordinating design, bidding, and construction administration services. Breaud provides these services in the areas of coastal, infrastructure, facilities, surveying, construction administration, and construction inspection and oversight.
