Baton Rouge, LA - The Providence Board of Directors has promoted Aimee Killeen as Principal of Providence Engineering and Environmental Group LLC, the firm’s environmental and engineering division that supports clients’ needs in environmental engineering and design services, environmental permitting and regulatory compliance, environmental due diligence, wetlands and ecological compliance, expert witness testimony, drafting and GIS. Killeen, who previously served as Providence Water Quality Director, assumed leadership in November 2018.  

Killeen began her Providence career in 2008. She has over 20 years of experience in water resources regulation and policy, environmental consulting, and project management. Her technical background includes a wide range of experience with environmental permitting and regulatory compliance projects focused on water quality permitting, water quality modeling, water quality standards and assessment, regulatory oversight, and water policy. Her stellar project management skills have allowed for effective communication with her team and her clients and many successfully executed applications and projects. 

Killeen is an active member of the Louisiana Water Environment Association and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Water Environment Federation. She previously served as President of the Louisiana Water Environment Association, and both Speaker of the House and Louisiana Delegate for the Water Environment Federation.
