Nimish Katwala

Mr. Katwala serves as one of Providence’s two Operations Directors.   Mr. Katwala joined Providence in 2005 as the Manager of Providence’s Texas Operations.  Mr. Katwala received his Masters degree in Environmental Engineering from Texas A&M University and his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from the Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India. He brings 14 years of experience in environmental compliance and management.  He has specialized in the air quality arena managing large projects that have involved M&A auditing, permitting, compliance, dispersion modeling, control technology, and testifying as an expert in contested case hearings and public meetings.  He has provided air quality services to more than 15 industries in 10 different states.  Mr. Katwala has conducted numerous regulatory seminars and authored papers on various aspects of the Clean Air Act. These seminars and papers have focused on various Clean Air Act requirements such as PSD, NNSR, Title V, NSPS, NESHAP, SIP requirements and Climate Change.  He is also an expert at defining requirements and implementation of environmental information management systems for industrial facilities.
