Environmental Engineer/Specialist - Alexandria, LA

Providence and Environmental Group, LLC is seeking multiple environmental engineers and environmental specialists for its Alexandria, Louisiana office. The level of experience that is desired is from mid level to senior level. Entry level need not apply. The successful candidate will work in one or more of the following areas of services:

• Air Permitting and Compliance
• Air Quality Dispersion Modeling
• Air Quality Measurements
• Air Pollution Control Engineering
• Groundwater Remediation, Groundwater Monitoring, Groundwater Modeling, and Subsurface Investigations
• Management of solid and hazardous waste at industrial facilities
• Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
• Landfill engineering, permitting, and management
• Hazardous Waste RCRA Part B Permitting
• Knowledge of RECAP and Texas Risk Reduction Program Rules
• Wastewater permitting and compliance under the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System
• Wetland Delineation and Coastal Restoration

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 - 5+ years experience in the environmental arena
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge and experience with applicable State and Federal Rules
• Project management experience a plus
• Strong marketing background and familiarity with the Central and North LA market a plus
• IT experience a plus

Education:

• B.S. / M.S. in Environmental/Chemical/Civil/Mechanical/Agricultural Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Atmospheric Science, Biology, Chemistry, Geology, or other natural resource science or engineering

Salary:

• Commensurate with experience
