Civil Engineer – Houma, LA

GSE Associates, a Providence Company, is seeking a civil engineer for its Houma, Louisiana offices. The level of experience is preferably 2 years of general civil engineering experience with an emphasis municipal design. The successful candidate will work in the following areas of services:

• Project Design for state/local governmental entities and multi-use site development projects for private developers
  
• Client contact and coordination
• Specification writing
• Cost estimating

Qualifications:

• 0 to 6 years experience in the municipal civil engineering arena
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Engineering Intern (EI) Certification, Professional Engineering (PE) Registration a plus
• Proficient in Autocad, Microsoft Office

• B.S. / M.S. in Civil Engineering

Salary:

• Commensurate with experience
